Who We Are
The ZADOKITES?
A royal priesthood, righteous and holy nation, chosen by God as His treasured possession, bought by the blood of Jesus Christ, named after His own name. Yes, we who are named “The LORD our RIGHTEOUSNESS” are these righteous Zadokites priesthood! The meaning of Zadok is righteous, representing the holy, set-apart spiritual priesthood that acts with justice and faithfulness before the heavenly throne, not the human throne!
According to the above iconic Ezekiel prophesy, which is fulfilled in Messiah, the Zadokites priesthood is very much alive and well in the last days through the body of Christ in the earth. And these are the marks of these Zadokites priesthood: a priest, seer, and judge in one – that’s ZADOKITES! That’s what we are in Christ Jesus!
The Lord Our Righteousness, or Yahweh Tsidkenu, is the new name announced from the heavenly throne over Christians, who are born again by faith in Christ Jesus. This declaration became active when the blood sacrifice of the Son of God was finished on the Calvary cross. The new covenant in the blood of Christ is the foundation of this justification, and whoever declares Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior becomes ‘the righteousness of God in Him’ at that very moment. This righteousness given to humans by God is a pure gift and evidence that God is righteous in justifying sinners. This means humans are justified by RIGHT believing, not by RIGHT doing. For God made Christ, who knew no sin, to be sin (judicially) on our behalf, so that in Him we become the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21).
This is the good news for all mankind – the one and only declaration that makes us RIGHTEOUS and RIGHT with God!
'HOLINESS TO THE LORD' ( OUR SPIRITUAL IDENTITY IN CHRIS )
Make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD. Fasten a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban; it is to be on the front of the turban… it will be on Aaron’s forehead continually, so that they will be acceptable to the Lord. (Exodus 28:36-38)
Do you know why God commanded Moses to engrave “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” on a plate of pure gold, to be worn by the high priest? It means that when God looks at the high priest’s forehead, He sees the people He represents as holy and righteous, and blessings from God flow to them unceasingly.
Today, we – the Zadokites who are in Christ Jesus, having received the free gift of salvation – are spiritually walking around with this crown that identifies us as “HOLINESS TO THE LORD”. Because in Christ, we have the golden band of righteousness conscious in our mind, fastened around our spirit with a blue thread of grace.
We, who are a chosen, holy, and royal priesthood, are always bearing this spiritual band engraved in golden letters, which reads “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” in our entire consciousness. This is a fulfillment of this golden Scripture and a witness to our High Priest, Jesus Christ.
Because He who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood has made us kings and priests to God our Father, and we are accepted in this Beloved forever.
