Main Closures in the New Covenant!

“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” [Heb 8:12 & 10;17]

I am here to announce you all that the New Covenant in the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ is the Covenant of His ultimate Loving kindness towards the human race.

The main closure in this Covenant of Grace is the greatest News which everyone should know-believe and enjoy.

  • “I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO YOUR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS”
  • “I WILL REMEMBER YOUR SINS NO MORE”

Why I wanted to announce this news to all of you in all its possible mode is because once upon a time in my life, before I knew Jesus I used to do many rituals as “Papaparihara” for my life for the remission of my sins in order to enjoy a good life in this earth and also to have a secured seat in the other side of the earth after my death! But God loved me so much so that, He gave his grace to receive His salvation and to experience all the truths about His loving kindness in multiple verticals in my life! I was restored with the followed verse from Bible in[Eph 3:17-19]

“..you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.”[Eph 3:17-19]

God helped me to walk in the essence of the above verse from that day onwards and enabled me to get rooted in His Loving kindness established with a Covenant guarantee!

This is the good news everyone should hear, believe and rest up on!

Surely God knows all our sins—past, present and future—Still He choose to say , I will be righteous to your unrighteousness and your sins I will remember no more!” Here the words “no more” are a strong double negative in the original Greek text. In other words, God is saying, I know you are a sinner and deserve the penalty and a bad life in this earth! But I love you So much! Because of my love, I have personally came down to die for you and redeemed you from all what was against you – for the remission of your sins and good life for your entire course of life!

The declaration from God that “I will be merciful to your unrighteousness and lawless deeds and your sins I will by no means ever remember” is solely based on Gods unconditional Love towards you and the foundation for the same is perfected by the “Finished Work “on the cross by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Note! “God doesn’t say He’ll forget our sins–He says He’ll remember them no more! His promise not to remember them ever again is stronger than saying He’ll forget them!

Also He did mention that even though we are unrighteous and fallen in sin, God will remain Righteous to us and will count us as Righteous – Perfect and Complete forever in Him!

These are the reassurances that YOU ARE CLEARED OFF from ALL WHAT WAS HOLDNING you back from GOD!

Because all levels of condemnations which were pricking your heart and mind from enjoying the life in its full measure has been dealt in the cross!

“There is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”

If you feel that your actions will bring His cleansing or your action will attract His condemnation then you will live a defeated life of condemnation. When you see the work is all of God and that He doesn’t need your help, you can rest! Jesus cleansed our sin without our help 2,000 years ago at the cross and then sat down and will not do anything else about our sins. Jesus did all the cleansing he will ever do at the cross. What we must do is a response to what He already did by rightly believing and resting on Gods own word, where God says that your sins are forgiven and will be merciful to us forever!

Now you may ask me, did God have lowered His standards here? No, He is still perfectly holy. The reason is that He did remember all our sins—2,000 years ago at the cross. Every sin which we have committed or will commit has been punished to the full measure in the perfect divine estimate of God in the body of Jesus Christ at the cross. He punished every single one of them until Jesus cried out, “It is finished!” (John 19:30) That is why today, God can justly say, “Your sins I will remember no more.” Because judicially all your sins are punished on someone else, your substitute, Jesus Christ! So that He cannot punish you again. Judicially its prohibited!

That is why today, God remembers our sins no more. We should, therefore, not be sin-conscious. May be you can look at yourself and remembers what you were like in the past. But when God looks at you through the new covenant, He declares, “I will be merciful to your unrighteousness, and your sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more.” He states it plainly in His Word as if to assure us: “When you come to Me, don’t think that I am thinking about your sins. Don’t think that every time I look at you, I am reminded of your sins. Not only am I not keeping a record, but I am also not mindful of your failures and shortcomings. We all know that we sin from time to time. But the good news is that all our sins have already been dealt with at the cross. They have been washed away by Jesus’ blood the moment you got saved! Now, when we come into God’s presence, He sees us without our sins. So beloved, forget your past failures. Believe that God remembers your sins no more and be the righteous man that you already are in Christ!

Each time we feel condemned for our past mistakes, God wants us to remember the cross and say, “Lord Jesus, you were sentenced for this sin I committed. You bore the judgment, so God will not judge me for this sin. You were condemned for this sin, so God will not condemn me for it.” Whenever you fall in sin receive more of His righteousness by confessing that “I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” and raise above your failure! Whenever you fail, If you don’t look to the cross, you will become sin-conscious and you will walk around with a certain expectation of judgment. And that expectation of judgment will give the devil a chance to get you thinking that God has something against you because of your sin.

We know that we all make mistakes. But because Jesus died and rose from the grave, every mistake we will make or ever make has been paid in full. Don’t let shame and guilt keep you from receiving God’s love any longer. Psalm 103:12 says, “As far as the east is from the west, our sins are removed from God’s memory.” Since God has removed them from His memory, it’s time we do the same and move forward with God and receive His love and mercy. You may have made mistakes, but God still believes in you, loves you and has an amazing future in store. Keep your heart toward God, and He will show Himself strong on your behalf!

Let me tell you again and again that every sin which we have committed or will ever commit has been punished to the full in the body of Jesus Christ at the cross. All our sins have been dealt with at the cross, so we can come boldly into God’s presence. Because when God looks at you today, He sees Jesus. Because of this, His thoughts toward you are thoughts of loving kindness, forgiveness and unmerited favors and blessings! Jesus paid a heavy price on the cross, so that you can live a life completely accepted and unconditionally loved by God!

This is the main and the important closure of the New Covenant! God is merciful to all your unrighteousness and remember your sins no more because the payment for all your sins has already been made in full upon the body of Jesus at the cross. Therefore, when God looks at you today, He doesn’t, judge, esteem, and measure you according to your imperfections. He sees you in Christ, and He sees the blood that has been shed for you by His beloved Son Jesus Christ!

The main reason why the covenant Jesus Christ offered in the Gospels is greater than anything that came before it is – it promises ALL sins will be forgiven. In fact, the tremendous promise God makes is that our sins, once he forgives them, will NEVER, EVER be recalled or remembered by him! It is only through the sacrifice and death of Jesus Christ the Savior that such an incredible and awesome forgiveness can be extended to man (Matthew 26:27 – 28). Knowing and believing this powerful truth will make all the difference in how you live your life.

Also it confirms in Hebrew 10:12-14 that

“But this Man [Jesus], after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God…For by one offering He has perfected forever…”

IT IS FINISHED! PERFECTED & ETERNAL!

You and I are perfected forever because of Jesus’ perfect work on the cross. We are perfected by God’s full acceptance and perfect delight in His Son’s work that has so glorified His holiness. Beloved, hear God say to you, “I will be merciful. Your sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

Live in the full assurance of your eternal security in the Blood Covenant in Jesus! Be conscious of your Position and Power in Christ! You are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!! All Because of Jesus! And Jesus Alone did it for you!!! Amen!
