YOU ARE SAVED FROM THE DAY YOU HEAR, BELIEVE AND ACCEPT THE GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST JESUS!
The moment you are saved, you have entered in the covenant with GOD!
The Revelation Knowledge [Logos] from our loving God will activate it all together in your Spirit–Soul & Body
Every Christians are under the New Covenant in Christ Jesus.
We have learned the many specialties of God and His Covenants such as!
- God made the New and the eternal Covenant in Jesus Christ through the Cross!
- And God found fault in the Old covenant it is obsolete in its validity because Jesus Christ has nailed it on the Cross!
- And God always remember His covenant and He cannot break His Covenant!
- And the Covenant cannot be terminated because it is eternal in nature.
- And the Covenant is the base of all the blessings and promises He made to us.
- And our God is a Covenant Making and Covenant Keeping God!!!! And…The list goes on..
Having known all the merits and blessings in the Eternal Covenant of God in the blood of Christ, you will definitely ask me, how can one enter into this Covenant and enjoy the very privileges? After all entering into a covenant with the creator of the universe will be the most powerful act in ones entire life!
The Answer is Very Simple! But Powerful!
YOU MUST KNOW IT & YOU MUST BELIEVE IT
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.[John 8:32]
Now the question is how we will know the truth and how the truth will set you free in the context of covenant! I will use the below scripture to explain which answers both!
“You, who are far away, hear what I have done; you, who are near, acknowledge my power! [Isaiah 13:33]”
1.”You, who are far away, hear what I have done; [Isaiah 13:33]
When we were far away it was mandatory for us to hear about what Jesus has done [Gospel] and come into the knowledge of the truth. Because …
” faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ [Rom 10:17]”
Means before we were saved we were far away from God or had no covenant with God, rather we were the object of His wrath and had no peace with Him.
But when we heard the Truth [Gospel-The word of Christ] about what Jesus has done for us and How His finished work on the cross has enabled you to enter into a covenant with Him and the grace of God Enabled us to believe in Him we are actually entering into the eternal peace with God. The power of the blood covenant is active then and there in us! Because the revelation on how God has reconciled you through Christ with the power of His eternal blood for the propitiation of our sins, and the conquering resurrection of Christ Jesus which was a divine proclamation of our justification and the very grace of God which is poured out in our heart through the Holy Spirit and the love of God by which we are drawn to God is the divine transformation of our Spirit which makes us Christian – the covenant Child in Christ’s Spirit! [Romans 5:5,Rom 4:25]
2. You, who are near, acknowledge my power! [Isaiah 13:33]”
Now that you are saved through Christ Jesus or when We Are Near to God, what we need to do is we need to acknowledge about Him and His Mighty Power!
Otherwise you need to be conscious about the fact about the finished work of Jesus Christ and the grace covenant established via Christ Jesus and you are in Him when you become a Christian! Always acknowledge the power of the Truth you have heard and walk in the fullness of Covenant Power!
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—[Eph 2:8]”
We all know that, Salvation is a free gift from God! Just as you have received the salvation by grace through faith, the entry in the covenant also comes as free gift from God. The moment you are saved you have entered into the new covenant with God. Pertaining to our salvation, God enabled us to hear or know about Him [Jesus Christ] through some preacher, media, and posters or while reading your Bible itself. You came to know or you have got a revelation knowledge that God has forgiven all your sins through Jesus Christ and He died as a ransom for your sins and He is now asking you to receive this free gift of salvation by putting your trust in Him. Until and unless you know and believe this truth that God has reconciled you into Christ and you are a child of God and the eternal life is a free gift from God , you can never ” ENTER “or “ENJOY “the SALVATION package!
Unfortunately in Christendom many people are in fear and uncertainty about their assurance on Godly blessings, even though they are saved. Because they still don’t know that God has an eternal gracious covenant with them and it carries a big chunk of promises and blessings which God is obligated to do for you because of Jesus Christ and His finished work on cross. My whole intention from this article is to make you understand how you are entering into the Covenant and “EXPERIENCING ALL ITS BENEFIT “without any mental struggle. As long as you don’t know it, you don’t have it! If you don’t have it, you will remain under bondage! But when you know believe and receive it! You are free in Christ!
The moment you are saved, the New Covenant is technically active on you or you have entered in the covenant with GOD!
The covenant is practically experienced when you are conscious about it or when you acknowledge the truth in your heart by faith!
Let me explain it! We agree that in reality Jesus Christ died 2000 years ago and the Covenant was enabled from His resurrection day! Which is the sole essence of our Salvation and the means of the New Covenant. God’s eternal covenant was written in the blood of Christ and made available to the entire human race from that day onwards!!Now imagine that you came to KNOW about this truth only today on your 40th year of age!!
Consider the below facts..
Technically the covenant was up and active from 2000 years.
But. You heard and believed this Good news today only!
So practically you enter in it today and enjoy its power and benefits from today onwards!
Until the date you got saved you were the object of God’s wrath!
Now That you are Saved You are a Covenant child of God!
The more and more you know about Jesus and His finished work on the cross and the benefits of Covenant and the security on the covenant relationship with God will grow in your spirit and will be easily manifested in your daily life! Be with Jesus Christ! Established and rooted in His word! Praying over the situations and receiving provision from God is not the same as covenanting with Him despite the fact that the prayer is vital for Christian life. But the covenant is an altar upon which the Lord and His covenant partner give themselves fully to each other. In my case God was ensuring me that “Because of the blood of my covenant with YOU I will make your prisoners free from the waterless pit” . And He raised my Hope and put me in prison of Godly Hope which ensures the protection and coverage for all of my family when the health condition of my brother was dire. Amazingly the quality of a covenant relationship with God does not cease once prayers have been answered. Covenant power is greater than that which comes through prayer alone. The effects of a covenant reach far beyond simple faith. Prayer and faith are essentials; they are prerequisites, but not substitutes, for covenant power. The covenant relationship is a lifelong pledge, an unbreakable oath that God Himself initiates and promises to sustain. Contained within His promise is His unalterable commitment, not only to satisfy His redemptive purposes, but also to supply grace and hope to us through Christ. Together, the all-sufficient God and a believing child accomplish the impossible through their covenant relationship.
Conclusion!
The Revelation Knowledge from our loving God will activate it all together in your Spirit [The power Of God] –Soul [Your Mind Accepting the truth]- & Body [Acknowledging and living in the revealed truth]. In nutshell or in reality it is a revelation that makes the pieces fall into place .
“..that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation” [Eph 3:3]”
The revelation is to understand the significance of the power of the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and the everlasting Covenant He made available to us through His blood! The prison exchange He has done on every fall from our end. This is why the apostle Paul is saying “Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified,” and how he determined “not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” And he will not boast “except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Covenant which makes God to say! You will be my people and I will be Your God! Or personally “He will be mine, and I will be His”. To be in covenant with God means that He has agreed to be our God and we have agreed to be His people. The Chosen people, A royal Priesthood, Gods special possessions! [1 Pet 2, 9:10]
- My friend, the moment you accept Jesus as your Savior, you are born again with the Spirit of Christ inside of you! You are already on the Covenant relation with God the moment you are saved and you have victory in your walk with Christ Jesus as the scripture says…For you because of the the blood of the covenant with Him …..He will restore a double blessing on every challenging situation in your life! [Zechariah 9:11]
