The new Covenant which will draw us Near to God! The Magnet where we are attracted!
“The former regulations –The old covenant – is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the LAW made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced by which we draw near to God (Heb 7:18-19)
The Eternal Covenant of God has us given a full assurance of eternal life for anyone Who believes in it!
Let us see some of the prominent blessings in the new covenant which you must know.
1. “THE LORD BECOMES OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
In the N.C. blessing, the best and the top most priority I would like to give to the “Free gift of Righteousness”
Jesus Christ brought EVERLASTING RIGHTEIOUNESS!
The righteousness you cannot SIN AWAY!
Righteousness apart from law [work] – A free gift which can receive by faith!
The Righteousness which will make you reign in Life!
Those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! [Rom 5:17]
This heavenly robe will provide all other blessings you needed in your life! This privilege card which will add all other blessings by default in your – soul/body and spirit!
“ Seek first his kingdom and His Righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you [Mat 6:33]
2. You can receive the Free Gift of- SALVATION!
[Shalom- Peace, health, Safety, security, preservation, deliverance and wholeness, peace…]
The salvation itself is a new covenant blessing, because the concept “salvation” was not there in the O.C.
All the old covenant folks were in fact looking forward for this YESHUA! – SALVATION- CHRIST-
This mystery is revealed only for the N.C. partakers
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.”[Acts 16:31]
3. GOD CANNOT REMEMBER YOUR SINS ANYMORE!
“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more”(Heb 8:!2)
In the N.C. God not only forgive your sins, He forgets it! He will never ever remember it again!
The SIN was the main problem in the old covenant! The penalty for the SIN was death!
The SIN was known by the channel of LAW….
ITS all Finished in the N.C.. Its all put away! Nailed it in Cross!
Note :- This was one of the main closure in the New Covenant! [Heb8:12]
4. God is For us and we Become Gods Chosen People!
“I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MINDS, AND I WILL WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS. AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. [Heb 8:10]
In N.C. God will never refer the Stone he gave it to Moses. Instead he writes the Law –The new commandment of God’s Love in our hearts and mind!
He put all those old covenant rebellion [the 10 commandments, Aarons road, and the Pot of manna]in the ark of the covenant, closed it and sprinkled with Blood!
“This ark [Jesus Christ] contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant [ Heb 9:4]
God’s holy eye never can penetrate beyond His HOLY blood!
We become gods Holy and chosen people permanently!
5. God will never leave You nor Forsake You!
In the Old covenant, if there is sin in the camp or in the people, God will leave them!
But in the New covenant God will never leave you, nor will He forsake you![Heb 13:5]
Why? Because He has already dealt with your sins and the SIN factory! He killed both in Christ! He has accepted you in His beloved!
5. We got a Perfect Mediator and Permanente Priest!
In the old covenant, people’s blessings were wrapped up in the goodness of their high priest!
If their high priest were good and blameless, the people and the nation were blessed for a year!
If their High priest were not perfect in the eyes of God! He will die over the alter, resulting doom and darkness for the people !
In the old covenant this kind of shaking and the Hopeless situation were a major challenge for the people to be blessed!
“ But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.” [Heb 8:6]
But in the New Covenant – We have a Perfect Mediator –Jesus Christ
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.[Heb 6:19,20]
He does all the sacrifices perfectly and effectively in one shot entering the Holy of Holy place through the curtain, which is His body and gave us a secured position in Gods eyes!
6. Jesus Christ Become the author and perfector of our faith!
“ Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. [Heb 12:2-3]
He is the author He is the perfector – He is the initiator and He is the finisher for all the need of your Being! So that you don’t need to be weary and lose heart! Just cast all your burdens unto Him and rest in His provision! Such an amazing blessing!
“Because it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—[Ephesians 2:8]
Please say Amen and Glorify God! Because It’s all because of Jesus’s effort on the cross!! The Lamb who is worthy of Praise and Honor!
7.God will never be angry with you!
In the New covenant, God redefined the Rainbow, for you to know and relate with that, He will never be angry with you. Rather He will be always gracious and compassionate towards you
Its all because of Jesus and what He done on the cross! [Refer the Suffering Servant Chapter – Isaiah 53]
“To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.”[Isaiah 54:9:10]
Always remember, here God sworn by an oath, which He don’t need to do!
That I will never be angry with you, nor will I rebuke you!
Rather He will be always in Peace with you! Who will have always compassion towards you!
The Singing in the Chapter 54 of Isaiah is based on Isaiah Chapter 53…Where He has DONE, all what is required us for to Sing and enjoy!
8. Nothing Can EVER Separate You From The Love Of God!
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us . For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord”[Rom 8:37-39]
Such a solid promise for us to rest and relax!
Nothing in the whole creation can ever separate you and me from the love of God in Chris Jesus Our Lord! Our Loving Father who has promised that “ I will Never Break My Covenant With You” [Judges 2:1]
