Jesus Christ ” The Savior”.

  • “I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord”[Luke 2,10-11]

I am happy that I am writing this article on the very Day of Christmas. No matter what’s the creed and color! The whole world celebrates this Good News! Christ’s Birth! JESUS CHRSIT is the savior of the World! The Good News was meant for all mankind under the sun! When the angels were announcing the birth of Jesus Christ to the shepherds in Bethlehem

This was the first Title they have used for Jesus…

A SAVIOR has been born to you; The Messiah!

“A Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”[Luke2, 10-11]

This was and still is the Job profile or the designation of Jesus Christ!

He is the Savior of the World!

He saves you & me from each and every need of ours!

Saving Human race was the purpose for His birth in this earth!

He has finished the task of saving the mankind through the cross and rose from the death as an assurance of our faith in Him!

“And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is worthless, and so is your faith” (1 Cor 15:14)

Anybody who believes in Jesus Christ is saved from all what you want to be saved!

Your SINS, deceases, poverty, lack, depression, pains, death…etc etc ….

As Isaiah prophesied Jesus Christ is a Son given by God, who is wonderful, counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting father, Prince of Peace

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.”(Isaiah 9:6)

What do you want Jesus to be in your life? And how you want to identify Him in your life that is what He is for you!

Is he an ordinary Human lived in this earth once upon a time? Yes He was. If that’s how you want to address Him in your life!

Is He a carpenter who used to make good furniture’s once upon a time in Nazareth? Yes. He was a carpenter..etc

Here the list goes on for the Mankind then and now!!

  • Is He a man who lived once upon a time on Nazareth? [John 6:42]
Yes!

He

was

and

He

is! ,

if that’s

how

you

want

to

address

Him

in

 your

life!!

Dear friend what do you want Jesus to be on your life, He is that for you. Do you know that how you see Jesus determines what you receive from Him? If you see Jesus as your healer, you will receive healing. If you see Jesus as your refuge and fortress, you will receive protection. If you see Jesus as your wisdom , you will have His wisdom operating on you…

Having said this, let us see what does Jesus says about Himself which is recorded in the Bible will ensure who He is for you and me! A truth worth knowing to be benefited in all of its value! Jesus did not come just to set a good example for man to follow. He came to be our Redeemer. (Galatians 3:13) He came to be our righteousness. (1 Corinthians 1:30) He came to be our shepherd, so that we will not lack anything. (Psalm 23:1) , He came to be our propitiation …the list goes on..

Jesus Christ Says that “I AM”

One day Jesus asked to His disciples also the same question! “But who do you say that I am?”

“He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”(Mat16:16)

Now how you answer this question depends on how you see Jesus. And how you see Jesus will determine how and what you receive from Him. So see Him as your God, as everything He claims to be in His Word, and He will do mighty works in your life!

Conclusion

As the angels has declared and Jesus has ensured and Peter has realized and accepted, let we also believe and receive Jesus as our LORD and Savior who is our Messiah – The Christ! Who dwells in our heart ! Emmanuel!

I welcome you to receive Him in your life Just by Believing in your heart that He is the LORD and Confess with your mouth that He has risen from the death and be saved!
